ART EXHIBITION
The Vessel of Creation
“The Vessel of Creation” showcases my collection of creations deeply inspired by nature, ancestral wisdom, visions, dreams, glimpses from music trances, and more.
“I stand, a vessel of creation’s breath, Awakening to messages from realms of depth. Realizations whispered, profound and clear, As a creative, I birth ideas sincere.
A conduit, a medium, I give life to form,
As woman, birthing souls amidst life’s storm. Creating art, a vessel pure and clear,
For spirits, cosmos’ voices, ancestral seers. Whispers of the land, echoes of the past, Through art, their messages are unmasked. Visions translated, worlds revealed,
Dreams woven, mysteries unconcealed.
Now, behold, this vessel stands with grace, Holding treasures within, a sacred space. Each creation a testament, a sacred key, Revealing the depths of divine creativity.”
Bio
An Artistic Journey Guided by Roots and Spirituality
Anagha is a South Indian artist who has found her creative home in the vibrant city of Berlin.
Born in Kerala, India, Anagha’s formative years were immersed in the animistic roots of Hinduism and the rich tapestry of Nair culture. Even as a child, she possessed a deep fondness for drawing and art, but the demands and rapid pace of adulthood gradually led her to lose touch with her creative side.
However, a serendipitous turn of events in Berlin would prove to be a catalyst for Anagha’s artistic rediscovery. As the world entered the era of COVID-19 lockdowns, Anagha found herself immersed in solitude, a period that kindled a spiritual awakening within her. Reconnecting with nature like never before, she began to explore the profound interconnectedness of all life.
During this transformative time, Anagha discovered the experimental folk music band Heilung, immersing herself in their embodiment of ancient Nordic and medieval European culture. Attending a powerful Heilung ritual served as a strong catalyst, further strengthening her spiritual understanding of the shared origins of humankind and the vital importance of honoring our ancestors.
Drawing inspiration from this newfound perspective, Anagha now derives her artistic muse from a diverse range of sources. Music, visions, dreams, and nature all converge to fuel her creative expression. Each stroke of her (digital) brush and pencil becomes a tribute to Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, art, and wisdom, and a token of gratitude to the spiritual energy that permeates and guides her.
Anagha continues to journey on her artistic path, embracing her roots, and allowing her art to serve as a channel for exploration, connection, and expression. Through her work, she invites others to embark on their own transformative journeys of self-discovery and spiritual connection.
