The Sekhem is the appearance and connection to the Black Flame or the dark light coming from the mysterious, still darkness of one’s Self.
My paintings are a reflection from the inner appearance of the Sekhem.
The Sekhem is recognized within the Self as a force of manifestation, healing, and spiritual elevation. The Sekhem appears within consciousness as intuition and inspiration. In this way, it makes us aware of aspects of the self and the connection between the self and its environment that could not be recognized before.
The Sekhem manifests within the self, as a Temple within consciousness in an alignment with the divine in connection with one’s own Essence.
Bio
Andre Harke is a Berlin based visual Artist.
In March 2012 Andre Harke became ordained to the Priesthood of Set, in
the Temple of Set.
2018 Andre self-published his second Book “. IX . Daimonion” which
contained texts about the Daimonion concept in theory and practice.
In 2021, Andre published the third book “Invocation of Set”. This one is
listed in the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek under: ISBN: 978-3754343630.
Andre’s first solo exhibition “Daimonion“ in Berlin took place in the
Danera Gallery in 2022. The exhibition’s catalog was
published as “Daimonion Exhibition“, another book that is listed in the
Deutsche Nationalbibliothek under: ISBN: 978-3754300961.
One large scale painting by Andre was part of the ANTINOMIAN exhibition at Studio Baustelle in 2024, it was the third installment of the Contemporary Occulture Exhibition series.
Andre’s most recent exhibition took place in Zurich, as a part of the international BIZART exhibition.
