Landscape of the Spirit
Landscape of the Spirit is a road-movie – an experimental documentary that
examines Polish “places of power” and the practice of radiesthesia. The creators of the film set off on a month-long journey through Poland, traversing side roads, highways, forests, mountains… Their route is filled with symbols, fragments radio broadcasts, relics and stories that together reveal the rich and multidimensional spiritual map of Poland. Along the way, they meet five guides – healers, exorcists and spiritual guardians who all hold a relationship with these highly energetic locations. Throughout the film, the initial conversation around the “places of power” turns out to be an entry point into further-reaching discussions on the topic of belief, spirituality and transcendence in the modern era.
