In her ritual The DOOR, Jaqueline Louan invites participants to select a key from a collection gathered from miraculous and storied places around the world. Through a guided drum trance, each key becomes a portal—opening the way to an inner door and awakening a remembrance of the participant’s own oracular power and deep inner knowing.

Jaqueline Louan is an artist and ritualist for the human heart. She weaves threads of enchantment, igniting the flame within your soul that burns with devotional prayer. One of her ongoing practices involves communicating with objects, drawing on their wisdom to navigate her life, the lives of others, and her creative process.

For nearly a decade, she has been studying drum rites, which have become integral to her photo rituals and tarot readings. Her work is deeply rooted in the mission to awaken humanity to the aliveness of all things and to remind individuals of their inherent divinatory power.
