Modern Day Emperors and Hierophants in 2025 How the Major Arcana Forecasts the Progression of Power
Susan Wands will explore the power of the Emperor and Hierophant archetypes in today’s world leaders. We will demonstrate how the imbalance of these ruling cards has impacted recent events. We will discuss what can be achieved through a personal awareness of these cards’ qualities and how to bring about a transition to the whole understanding of the Emperor and Hierophant.
Bio
Susan Wands is a writer, tarot reader, and actor. A co-chair with the NYC Chapter of the Historical Novel Society, she has lectured in London at Watkins Books for their Recorded Authors series, and at Atlantis Books, and has presented at previous Occulture Berlin Conferences. She is the author of a book series based on Pamela Colman Smith, mother of the modern tarot deck, and the first two books, Magician and Fool and High Priestess and Empress, have won major awards, including the 2023 and 2025 IPPY Gold Medal in the Visionary/New Age genre. The third book in her Arcana Oracle Series, Emperor and Hierophant, was published May 2025.
