Rewilding the Wasteland

In Rewilding the Wasteland, the exiled and demonized feminine returns not as a threat, but as a liberating force of ecological truth. This ritual performance reclaims Lilith as a mythic counter-power to turbo-capitalist destruction—a sovereign of the wild, the feral, the forbidden. Emerging from the ruins of exhausted landscapes and broken systems, Lilith invokes ancestral knowledge and subterranean resilience. Through movement, sound, and symbolic actions, the performance becomes a living spell: mourning the death of the biosphere, resisting the logic of extraction, and summoning a world in which nature is no longer othered, but honored. Part invocation, part protest, Lilith the Redeemer is an occult rite of healing and insurgency for a world on the brink.

Bio

Echoing Joseph Beuys’ idea of art as a liberating force, she sees creative practice as a means of personal and collective emancipation. Drawing from her rural upbringing and its connection to communal life, Druga is committed to reviving female aesthetics and forms of knowledge rooted in embodied experience. Through a “bottom-up” approach that fuses lived reality, street politics, and aesthetic formalism, she uses performance and visual storytelling to explore how rituals—both personal and collective—can become tools for empowerment and social transformation.
